From 2000 to 2002 Hans & Harry organized the now famous Casablanca gigs. In this club on the Zeedijk with a rich history in the middle of Amsterdam we played records you did not hear anywhere.
The core DJs included Hans Plakke, Paul Woosnam, Mandy Williams, Thierry Boulanger, Timmy Leonard and Hans & Harry.
During these "Sundays are Soulful" gigs we met many like minded people.
Because of our job obligations (we all had to work on Monday mornings) we had to decide to stop this monthly do.
But Soulful Sounds can still be heard monthly at Struttin ( http://www.myspace.com/struttinamsterdam ) and at the ASC
